Suggester says; I've seen a lot of similar photos, but this one stands out for me because of the elegant geometry of the suspension cables, and the fact that one of the bridge's support pillars remains visible in the distance, haunting and poignant.

Firstly this is an absolutely stunning photograph that caught my attention right from the start
There is a quality to this photography that is magical, and the way the bridge fades slowly into what I assume is fog gives the appearance that it continues for ever, and in a way giving hope for the unknown. The darkness that the bridge stems from also gives an illusion of hope, from dark to light.

The composition is exceptionally well done, as the bridge fades to white there is a support beam that draws the eye towards it, centre in the photo give it weight which is especially needed with such a light photo.

My only suggestions is there is a slight horizontal line across the bottom of the support beam which draws my eye down, when I feel it should be drawn up.

Over all it is a beautiful, well composed piece that deserves more attention.

Probably one of the best photos on DA ... or anywhere. Perfect "Zone" exposure, composition, and for *SaraJ3an ... that disturbing horizontal line is the horizon line, anchors the photo - without, the bridge would be "floating in space".

Love your gallery, man, gives me faith, reason to stay on this website, ignore the "less than wonderful" critics.

Yea baby!

Worth a DD.
Maybe leaving the sky white could effect even more minimalistic.

Hi

Thanks for your interest in my work.

With regards to prints, I am happy to produce copies of this work on your behalf.

All my work is printed on Hahnemule Glossy Fine Art Baryta 325gsm paper.

Each edition is 8"x 8" (203mm x 203mm) on A4 paper.

Each edition is dated, signed and numbered on the front and incorporates a tamper proof hologram sticker on the reverse of the print. Also included is a signed, dated and numbered Certificate of Authenticity which again carries the corresponding tamper proof hologram sticker.

In addition your print will be sealed using Hahnemule Protective Spray to protect from dirt, moisture and fingerprints.

I have calibrated my monitor and Canon Pro 9000 printer using a Spyder 3 Elite colourimeter and use respective ICC profiling to ensure quality control and colour consistency from monitor to final print is maintained.

If you are happy with the above and wish to deal direct with me then please contact me and I will send you my e-mail details.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes

Ric.

Thank you, this structure is very impressive and has never ceased to amaze me. I remember as a child visiting with my father as it was being constructed. A great piece of engineering.
